The owner, Liz Ficalora, will be producing, engineering, and arranging your songs. Liz has years of musical experience as a Nashville drummer and producer. She has a great talent of knowing just what you song needs to make it stand out from the rest. In 2007 alone, she has produced The Paint Sisters with John Carter Cash,and produced and engineered 35 songs with 20 songwriters.
She has developed a method and authored the manual How to Write a Fast and Easy Drum Chart, which is getting attention from Modern Drummer Magazine. She is a native New Yorker and a graduate of Boston's Berklee College of Music. She has earned a National Award for her jingle composition for Maxwell House Coffee. Her underscoring and composition work has appeared in the documentary Preservation Works, produced by the Massachusetts Historical Society and in the movie, Richard II, directed by John Farrell.
As a drummer, her extensive travel includes touring with Stella Parton and seeing the world as a drummer and arranger for the Carnival Cruise Line. Upon returning from the seas, Liz became the choral director for T. W. Hunter Middle School.
In 2004, Liz opened Ficalora Music Productions, a new digital recording studio to pursue a career as producer, engineer, and session drummer. Her vision for the future focuses on producing, writing, and engineering album and song productions for artists and songwriters. Her company has expanded globally through the internet , hoping to reach all professional and aspiring artists, songwriters, and musicians.
